So You Just Adopted a Dog (or Puppy)

Congratulations! Bringing a new dog (or puppy) into your home is one of the most exciting, sometimes challenging, and rewarding experiences that you can have. As the owner of Tug Dogs, I have been fortunate to have had the opportunity to help countless new dog owners set their newly adopted family members up for success. And knowing that I am getting to help people and dogs live better together is so rewarding. So I’m giving away tips and tricks that you can use right away to start off on the right foot with your newly adopted dog.

This course will teach you how to welcome your new dog into your home, how to prevent common behavior issues from occurring, and will give you some perspective about ensuring your new family member feels safe and relaxed during this transition.

Spending the 15 minutes or so that it takes to go through this course could very well be the difference between having an enjoyable experience with your newly adopted pup or having to invest significant time and money later on down the road to undo bad habits. So sit back and let me share what I know about how to make life easy and fun with your new companion.

Lastly, thank you for being such a dedicated dog owner. I know you wouldn’t be here volunteering to take a mini class about how to help your dog if you weren’t passionate about ensuring your new companion gets to live a healthy and happy life with you. There are so many gifts that dogs bring to our lives, spending a little time to understand their view of the world is a wonderful way to give back.
